Theodosis Stamatellos joined Lloyd’s Register in 2006 and led the consultancy provision of pre and post contract support providing owners with tailored solutions and coordinating new building and in-service projects. He has been working with global stakeholders for maintaining technical consistency as well as establishing technical excellence while seeking cooperation with external technical bodies and the Academia. In 2009 he became the Marine Country Manager for Greece, providing top-level leadership for all the marine functions in Greece such as Business Development, Client Support, Research, Consultancy, Plan Approval and Operations.
As of 1st September 2014, Theodosis has been appointed to the position of Lloyd’s Register Marine & Offshore Regional Manager for South Europe as well as Regional Lead for Marine & Offshore, Inspection Services, LRQA and Energy. Maintaining a high level responsibility for Cuba, Portugal, Spain, France, Monaco, Italy, Malta, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Turkey, Israel, Cyprus and Greece, he is working closely with his Senior Marine colleagues at these countries in order to support the needs of our clients and promote Lloyd’s Register business working for a safer world.

Prior to joining Lloyd’s Register, Theodosis was Principal Engineer at the Plan Approval department of the American Bureau of Shipping. He has studied Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens with subsequent University Research work and practical experience with New Buildings at Elefsis Shipyards.
